China Study Tour - Day 10 (Wednesday)

I woke up and looked around, all of my friends were still in their dreamland. It was true that my feet ached. I walked to the place where my phone was charging. My phone was full and I unplugged the charger. I turned on the phone and it turned out that it was 3a.m. I continued my sleeping because the others had set an alarm. I forgot what the exact time I woke up, but because of my fears, I took a bath with door opened. I took a bath alone but there were 2 of my friends(I don't need to tell who hahaha) who took a bath together. Finishing took a bath, we went to the first floor to have breakfast. Sorry to say but the breakfast wasn't that good. The rice wasn't cooked well and many things. Than not eating anything, I ended up by having the rice haha. The place for breakfast was also so small so that I should eat outside the place. My another friend asked, "Do you feel something bad here?" Honestly, I didn't feel anything bad but why everyone felt like that ._. Maybe, because there were too many complains about the bad atmosphere in the hotel and also unprepared food, my teacher told us to get our suitcases down because we were gonna move into another hotel.

Finishing tidied up our things, we were ready for the city tour in Jinan :D We went to Baotu Spring. Heihu Quan, and Daming Hu lake. The scenery in those places were soooo beautiful. But I was so lazy to walk because my feet ached until I hated stairs hahaha. My feet were so pain when I used stairs even when I walked -.- When I was in Daming Hu Lake, I bought a corn ice cream XD The outside tasted corn, but the inside was vanilla ice cream.

Visiting those places done, we went to WanDa Plaza. WanDa was a big shopping mall with branded things inside. Wanda was so big and cool. We spent around 2.5 hours there. I didn't know what to buy at WanDa so that I decided to go to the supermarket and you know what, I hunted pocky AGAIN hahaha.

 Then we went to another mall but I forgot what the name was. Around the second mall, there was a food street and also we were there to see Quanchen Guang chang (fountain). The fountain was also cool :D Maybe day 10 could be called as a Mall Day hahaha. The second mall was also very big and it had a lot of branded stuffs inside. Tata and I went to the food street too and bought fried squid, grilled mutton, and boba tea. Boba meant bubble. It was said that Asians spelled bubble as boba.The fried quid was so delicious :')

At 5p.m. we should gathered at the place we had agreed before because we were gonna have our dinner and see the fountain. The dinner was McD but let me say for the second time, although McD existed in Indonesia, the taste was different. But still KFC was the best meal during the trip XD The fountain was so beautiful and cool XD

After watching the fountain show, we came back to our new hotel. The bus was parked in front of a museum. I couldn't remember what museum it was because we didn't go there. The museum was quite cool :D Arrived at the hotel, my teacher told us where our room was and gave us the card to enter the room. It was said that our new hotel was five-stars hotel XD Because Ayleen and Sophie still felt scared, they asked us to sleep over in my room. So we slept together haha we need to wake up early the next day because we should catch the bullet train. The mall day was fun but still tiring :D

China Study Tour - Day 9 (Tuesday)

We were gonna climb a mountain called Tai Shan! Day 9 was exciting but I had been sure that it would have been a tiring day. All of the students wore the same t-shirt to prevent someone missing since there would be so many people. Before starting to climb, we took a photo together first to remember this moment ;D If we took the stairs to reach the top of the mountain, it would take around 2 hours. The good thing was we used bus and cable car to help us climb but the sad thing was we should still take the stairs to reach the top and to go down.

 In the midst of our climb, there were a lot of stores on the side of the road. There was a store who sold a food that I didn't know what the name is. The food was for 10 yuan and honestly, it tasted bad ._.

I didn't know how long the climbing took to reach the top of the mountain. But finally we were at the top of the mountain! We could see what many people said, the sky palace. It was so beautiful. We only spent maybe around a half hour and immediately went down. I bought a necklace with a dragon pendant yin wei wo de she shio shi long(since my sheshio was dragon) while going down.

Going down was quite scary because the stairs was very steep. It took around two hours to get arrived at the foot of the mountain because we took so many breaks hahaha.

Getting tired and the time had shown lunch's time, we immediately left the mountain. We went to a fast food restaurant and it was the most delicious food I had ever got during the trip hahaha it was KFC! Although KFC existed in Indonesia, the taste was different.

Eating our lunch done, we went to the next city, Jinan. It took around an hour to reach Jinan. Arrived at Jinan, we dropped our suitcases off first at the hotel then our teacher said that we would go to a mall. We were so exciting but the time was impossible for us to go to the mall because all of the malls there were closed at 9pm. We also hadn't had our dinner yet so that we were asked to have dinner.

After dinner, we directly went back to the hotel. My teacher said that our feet would be pain the day after so he suggested us to lift our feet while sleeping. I wanna tell you an exerience haha. So, when we came back to the hotel, some boys faces looked like they felt scared but I didn't notice it since I didn't feel anything bad in the hotel. Before entering my room, I went to my friends' room, Ayleen's and Sophie's, first to borrow a cable and then going back to my room. I took a bath and after I finished taking a bath, Tata said like this,"Sophie and Ayleen asked us whether we wanted to sleep together or not" I said yes but they should sleep at our room because I was lazy to go to their room hahaha. Suddenly they knocked our room with a panic face, I asked why. They told me that they were terrorized. The lamp was on and off by itself and then a stuff suddenly fell whereas when I had been in their room, I hand't felt anything. I became scared hearing their story but I also didn't know why that I still didn't feel anything bad. I became quite calm after telling my friends in Indonesia about what happened in my friends' room. Sophie and Ayleen decided to tell the teachers what happened and asked them to accompany Sophie and Ayleen to packed their things in their room. For the second time, I finally realized that there was something wrong in their room. The room was so smelly and the teachers who accompanied us suddenly became pale ._. Even the teacher prayed when accompanying them. Fortunately, there was nothing in my room, everything was fine. The night was quite scary but I tried to calm my self down by praying and because we slept together, it abated my fear.

China Study Tour - Day 8 (Monday)

at 5.45am, I woke up to go back to the hotel after home stay for 2 days 2 nights. I took a bath first then I had breakfast. The breakfast was milk, bread, and an egg *egg every breakfastsssss!!!! T_T*

Having my breakfast done, I said a farewell to my foster sister and my foster mother. I said thanks and I joined Ayleen's foster father to come back to the hotel. It was sad to leave my foster family but fortunately I downloaded QQ so that we could still keep in touch.

I still should wait for the others at the hotel. While waiting, I tidied my suitcase up in my teacher's room. We were gonna have Dezhou city tour! We went to Jian He River which had a very beautiful scenery. As always, I didn't forget to capture everything there XD

From Jian He River, we went to a place that I forgot what the name was. It was like a temple. After that, we had lunch at the same place before. It was the last lunch we had in Dezhou and in that place as well. Because it was the last, we got a coca cola. hoho

Then, we went to a shopping mall. We were given around 2 hours inside the mall. Tata and I bought a bag and a doughnut. Doughnut in China was sooooo delicious. It was really different from the usual doughnut I found in Indonesia ahahaha.

We directly went to the next city Tai'An. It took around 3 hours and because I woke up so early, I fell asleep. Because we arrived at Tai'An at around 5p.m, we directly went to a restaurant to had a dinner. After dinner, we directly went to the hotel because we needed to prepare our body for tomorrow. We were gonna do mountain climbing! The hotel room was so cozy but unfortunately we only stayed there for a day. Day 8 was fun and tired ;)

China Study Tour - Day 7 (Sunday)

Day 7 was the second day of home stay. The second and the last night. My feeling was half excited and the rest was sad. Although they weren't my own family, but they had treated me very well. They were also very kind. I woke up at around 7 am. My foster mom said that we would have breakfast outside and then she asked me to get ready. At first, I had thought that they would have taken a bath first but I was totally wrong because they didn't do it. They also didn't ask me to take a bath so that I said that I wanted to take a bath first before going outside. Fortunately, they patiently waited for me hahaha. I didn't know where we went for breakfast but they treated me :D

I ate egg every breakfast times because I didn't like anything else T_T Having our breakfast done, I went to Mei Chen's house to spend time together again because Yu Xin's mom were going to work and she was gonna come to Mei Chen's at lunch time. Yu Xin and Mei Chen invited me and Ayleen to go to their primary and middle school. I was so excited that I could visit their school because I thought like, "Kapan lagi coba gw ke China terus ngunjungin sekolah2nya kalo ga sama mereka diajakin."(When would I come to China to visit its local school if I wasn't invited by them) ahahaha. But the more exciting thing was before going to their school, we went to the traditional market to accompany Mei Chen's mom buying the ingredients for lunch's food.

Mei Chen's mom went home and we continued our journey to Yu Xin's and Mei Chen's school. Their school was 德州十中 (Dezhou no. 10 Middle School). There was an exam in their school so that it was quite hard for us to get into their school moreover Ayleen and I weren't its student. Fortunately, we got allowed to get in but only around the field. Their school was soooooo big! The field was so big and green. The point was their school was very cool! I didn't forget to take photos there because we should capture every moments, shouldn't we? ahaha

Mei Chen!

After visiting their middle school, we went to their primary school. Their primary school wasn't too far from their primary school. Fyi, we walked from Mei Chen's place - traditional market - 德州十中 - their primary school - Mei Chen's place. It was fun but yeah, tiring. Arriving at Mei Chen's place, we were invited by Mei Chen's mom to learn how to make steamed buns. It was very interesting XD Then not long after that, Yu Xin's mom was coming and we had our lunch. I ate 2 steamed buns because it was delicious. I didn't eat anything else because I didn't like the other foods. After eating, Yu Xin's mom came to her apartment alone to take car to take Ayleen and me going to a place for closing ceremony. We still had time to take a nap for 45 minutes but actually it was more than 45 minutes and it made Ayleen and me late for the closing ceremony u.u Fortunately, when we arrived there, the event hadn't started yet. There were a lot of performances showed in the closing ceremony such as a dancing that we had learnt at the cultural school, Angklung, a traditional Indonesia dancing, etc.

The closing ceremony took around 2 hours and then we gathered again with our foster family. Directly we went to Mei Chen's grandparents' home to have BBQ and celebrate Yu Xin's birthday in advance. Yu Xin's birthday should have been on next Thursday but I thought because of Ayleen's and my presence, she made her birthday celebration in advance. Mei Chen's grandparents' home was still like an old house. But I was so grateful that I could visit their house because, "Kapan lagi coba gw ke China terus ngunjungin rumah2 tua kalo ga sama mereka diajakin."(When would I come to China to visit the old house if I wasn't invited by them) ahahaha. Mei Chen, Ayleen and I sang happy birthday for Yu Xin. Ayleen and I offered ourselves to sing happy birthday in Bahasa Indonesia then we sang it hoho. As usual when we were waiting Yu Xin's mom to come after parking her car, we were offered fruits. China had a small mango and all fruits in China were sweet. Yu Xin's mom brought a birthday cake and honestly it was very delicious especially the cream. Because the cream in China and in Indonesia were very different.

We played like a running man after eating and then we left Mei Chen's grandparents' home at around 9pm. I took a bath and then went to sleep because I needed to wake up early. Day 7 was very fun! ;D
