Putting our Hearts in Bali, Indonesia

Hola! So this post must be before the Malang trip posted by Jasmine haha. You can check the Malang trip on the last 2 posts :D

I went to Bali a day before Christmas which meant I was gonna spend my Christmas in Bali. During Bali Trip, I only went there with my brother, aunties, uncles, and cousins. My parents didn't join the trip because they said they were tired haha. Actually we went to Bali because my cousin held a wedding thanksgiving in her house. I didn't even go to beach in Bali although I stayed around Kuta :')

DAY 1 (December 25th, 2015)
On Christmas Day, all the family went to church to celebrate it and I met my friends who lived in Bali. We had our lunch then we came back to the hotel waiting for another family, Jasmine's and ko Arip's family, to come. We had different ticket haha. Because I had never gone to flapjacks, the most famous pancakes and waffles house in Bali, I asked my aunt to go there. We ordered Christmas Edition Waffle. It was a combination of greentea-redvelvet waffles, 2 choices of gelato, oreo, nutella and choco stick. It just tasted so delicious :") Then at night we went to my cousin's for dinner :D After the dinner we played together and had so much fun!

DAY 2
Before going to my cousin's wedding thanksgiving, my another cousin and I went to Waterbom! I really enjoyed the time we spent there because it was more than fun :D In the afternoon we went to my cousin's. The next day, we only went shopping. Shopping and shopping all the time hahaha. We also often went like until 12am HAHA. At the 28th, we continued our journey to Malang by bus. You can check the Malang trip bellow this post! :)

Left Our Hearts in Malang, Indonesia

Hi guys! It's been a long time, right? Now I want to tell you about our trip to Malang, Jawa Timur, Indonesia.

Actually, we spent our vacation firstly in Bali, but just three days. And I think its not enough, really. Well, then we moved our feet to Malang by a boat in Gilimanuk. After one hour, we arrived in Banyuwangi, Jawa Timur. After that, we took a long sleep, maybe around six hours, continued our trip to Malang.

Okay, let's talk about the exciting one, like... our night in Batu Night Spectacular. I think it's a place like a night - themed park. Just like Ancol, but this is opens every night.

It has been 3 years!

Yay! So it has been 3 years since the first time we started blogging! We are so happy that we can run this blog for 3 years. Although the posts are getting lesser and lesser each year, we promise we will keep posting! We are busy because now we are in high school, lots of tasks to do. Thanks for all the supports! Thanks for all the readers and thanks to God as well :D We are more than happy, we feel joyful! Oh ya, that photo was taken during my cousin's wedding at Jakarta. There were me, Jasmine and my cousin's husband's cute little niece, Joyce! Isn't she cute? Hehe.
Happy belated new year and let's start this new wonderful journey with a positive mind, and a joyful heart! Let this year be our years. Cheers!

China Study Tour - Day 11 - 14 (Thrusday-Sunday)

HI GUYSSS!! Sorry for not updating this blog especially for not finishing my China Study Tour's post. So I'm gonna cut it short, I'm writing straight day 11 till the last day hehehe. Enjoy!

DAY 11
Day 11 we went to Beijing from Jinan by bullet train in around 4 hours. Arrived in Beijing, we directly visited Tian'An Men and Forbidden City, which is in the same place as Tian'An Men. There are twice flag ceremony everyday in Tian'An Men, in the morning and in the afternoon. Tian'An Men is so big and we took a lot of photos there. Satisfied walking and taking photos around Tian'An Men, we went inside the Forbidden City. Forbidden city is also big and for me the trip inside there was quite boring. I didn't really like about kingdom or something like that but I took photos as well hahaha. MY FEET WERE STILL SO PAIN and it was a struggle to walk through the Forbidden City hahhaha.

Finishing visited Forbidden City, we went to Nanluo Guxiang. Nanluo Guxiang is an short alley which sells lots of foods and stuffs all along the alley. My friend, Tata, and I bought some snack and tea leaves which we could make the tea in our beloved country, Indonesia :D

Nanluo Guxiang was not our last destination on day 11, we still went to Wangfujing, the most famous shopping center because of the affordable price. We could bargain all the stuffs there except the stuffs in the mall around there. Because of the lack of my Chinese language, it was so funny to bargain. I used my calculator to bargain! hahaha I could only say how much the stuff was lol. I got some souvenirs for my family and friends in Indonesia and Wangfujing was the last destination of the 11th day!

DAY 12
I had such a sumptuous breakfast in Beijing because we stayed at Novotel. Novotel was the best hotel during the trip! :D On the 12th day, we would visit Great Wall of China, finally!, and Xi Dan. Xi Dan is a shopping center like Orchard Road in Singapore. YAY finally I got a chance to visit one of the seven wonders of the world :D Because of the footsore, I didn't go the the top of the Great Wall but it was still good to take a photo ;p We were only around two hours at Great Wall and we continued to Xi Dan, shoppingggg! The toilet in China was not that clean and around Xi Dan there was Lafayette Galeries, luxurious mall, that had the cleanest toilet I had ever gone in China. I always went to Lafayette whenever I felt I wanted to pee HAHAHA. I bought two pieces of clothes and a stick of creamy manggo ice cream which tasted soooooooo nice. Xi Dan was the last destination and I was sad because it was the last day in China :(

DAY 13

It was the last day in China :( I was so sad that I had to leave the city. I missed my family yet not able to leave China. The last day in China, we got a chance to visit Summer Palace. Summer Palace was a place for the kings to rest a long time ago. There was lots of water there. But the weather was still so hot! I was boring there haha but the story of the Summer Palace was nice to hear :D Our friends and teachers were all like shopping haha so after the Summer Palace's visit, we went to Xi Dan, AGAIN! haha. We bought some stuffs for the last time and yea it was sad. We had the most delicious dinner during the trip, roast duck, We went to the best Roast Duck restaurant in town! :D Feeling full, we directly went to Beijing Airport. Our flight was at 00:05 and we were transit in Singapore. It turned out that on the 14th day, May 24th was my friend's bday, Clanton. Happy Birthday, Clayton! We arrived safely in Bandung, Indonesia in May 24th. I would always miss all the memories in China! :)

China Study Tour - Day 10 (Wednesday)

I woke up and looked around, all of my friends were still in their dreamland. It was true that my feet ached. I walked to the place where my phone was charging. My phone was full and I unplugged the charger. I turned on the phone and it turned out that it was 3a.m. I continued my sleeping because the others had set an alarm. I forgot what the exact time I woke up, but because of my fears, I took a bath with door opened. I took a bath alone but there were 2 of my friends(I don't need to tell who hahaha) who took a bath together. Finishing took a bath, we went to the first floor to have breakfast. Sorry to say but the breakfast wasn't that good. The rice wasn't cooked well and many things. Than not eating anything, I ended up by having the rice haha. The place for breakfast was also so small so that I should eat outside the place. My another friend asked, "Do you feel something bad here?" Honestly, I didn't feel anything bad but why everyone felt like that ._. Maybe, because there were too many complains about the bad atmosphere in the hotel and also unprepared food, my teacher told us to get our suitcases down because we were gonna move into another hotel.

Finishing tidied up our things, we were ready for the city tour in Jinan :D We went to Baotu Spring. Heihu Quan, and Daming Hu lake. The scenery in those places were soooo beautiful. But I was so lazy to walk because my feet ached until I hated stairs hahaha. My feet were so pain when I used stairs even when I walked -.- When I was in Daming Hu Lake, I bought a corn ice cream XD The outside tasted corn, but the inside was vanilla ice cream.

Visiting those places done, we went to WanDa Plaza. WanDa was a big shopping mall with branded things inside. Wanda was so big and cool. We spent around 2.5 hours there. I didn't know what to buy at WanDa so that I decided to go to the supermarket and you know what, I hunted pocky AGAIN hahaha.

 Then we went to another mall but I forgot what the name was. Around the second mall, there was a food street and also we were there to see Quanchen Guang chang (fountain). The fountain was also cool :D Maybe day 10 could be called as a Mall Day hahaha. The second mall was also very big and it had a lot of branded stuffs inside. Tata and I went to the food street too and bought fried squid, grilled mutton, and boba tea. Boba meant bubble. It was said that Asians spelled bubble as boba.The fried quid was so delicious :')

At 5p.m. we should gathered at the place we had agreed before because we were gonna have our dinner and see the fountain. The dinner was McD but let me say for the second time, although McD existed in Indonesia, the taste was different. But still KFC was the best meal during the trip XD The fountain was so beautiful and cool XD

After watching the fountain show, we came back to our new hotel. The bus was parked in front of a museum. I couldn't remember what museum it was because we didn't go there. The museum was quite cool :D Arrived at the hotel, my teacher told us where our room was and gave us the card to enter the room. It was said that our new hotel was five-stars hotel XD Because Ayleen and Sophie still felt scared, they asked us to sleep over in my room. So we slept together haha we need to wake up early the next day because we should catch the bullet train. The mall day was fun but still tiring :D
